IEEE Distinguished Lecturer Nomination

The Committee of the Distinguished Lecturer Program (DLP) of the IEEE CAS Society invites all Society’s Technical Committees Chairs and Board of Governors to nominate Distinguished Lecturers. Group of 2013-2014 DLs will be selected among the nominees. The nominations shall be received by no later than 30th September 2012.

The term for each Distinguished Lecturer is two years, non-renewable. Currently all terms begin and end at the turn of a calendar year.


Please note that the DLP Chair will later contact all nominees asking for short CV, Lectures description, and slides samples.

IEEE CAS Society BoG Election - Please vote by 10 October 2012

Important information regarding the 2012 Circuits and Systems Society BoG election follows. The IEEE Circuits and Systems Society Bylaws provide that five new members shall be elected annually to the Board of Governors. Biographical sketches of the 16 nominees submitted by the Nominations Committee are provided within the online voting site by clicking the icon next to the candidate’s name. In addition the biographical sketches for all of the candidates are available on the CAS website at http://ieee-cas.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/CAS-BoG-Election-Bios-2013_2015.pdf

Please vote for NO MORE THAN FIVE candidates and also identify the IEEE region in which you reside in order for us to capture the demographic of the voting constituency. Voting must be completed no later than 10 October 2012. Any returns received after this date will not be counted. The online voting site will close at 4:00 pm Eastern Time.
