The theme of ISCAS 2014 is nano/bio circuits and systems applied to enhancing living and lifestyles, and, in line with the Society’s Mission and Vision (http://ieee-cas.org), especially to the multidisciplinary grand challenges in healthcare and well-being, environment and climate change (e.g. see http://engineeringchallenges.org). ISCAS is the world's premier networking forum in the fields of theory, design and implementation of circuits and systems. The Society’s goal is to build it also as the premier forum in pioneering circuits and systems contributions to humanity’s grand challenges. ISCAS 2014 will include oral and poster sessions, tutorials in emerging topics and special sessions complementing the regular program. It will also include invited industry innovation sessions. ISCAS 2014 Keynotes will be delivered by distinguished speakers focusing on grand challenges relevant to the symposium theme.
Potential authors for regular papers, tutorials, special sessions, live demonstrations and industry sessions are requested to visit the symposium website for details: http://www.iscas2014.org. Authors of the accepted papers are expected to present their papers at the symposium and at least one author of the paper MUST register for the Symposium for the paper to be included in the program.

Prospective authors are invited to submit a full paper (4-page) describing original work. Only electronic submissions will be accepted. Papers should include title, abstract, and topic category from the list above in standard IEEE two-column format for consideration as lecture or poster. Paper in both format presentations, oral and poster, have the same value, and presentation method will be chosen for suitability. All submissions should be made electronically through the conference web site at http://mwcas-2014.org. Students are encouraged to participate in the best student paper award contest. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings subject to advance registration of at least one of the authors.

Online paper submissions are in pdf format, limited to six double-column IEEE format pages. Paper submissions will go through a double-blind peer review process. The SOCC proceedings will be submitted to IEEE Xplore®. Workshop/tutorial proposals with title, a one-page summary, and speaker’s short bio are submitted to the Tutorial Chair. Special session proposals may include title, topic rationale, organizer’s short bio, and a list of contributed papers, which are submitted to the TPC Chairs. “Design Track” submissions require a two-page extended abstract which will be published on the SOCC website and in the program.
