IEEE ISCAS 2018, Florence, Italy, May 27-30, 2018
We are pleased to announce that the 2018 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS2018) will be held in Florence, Italy, May 27th to May 30th, 2018. IEEE ISCAS is the is the flagship conference of the IEEE Circuits and Systems (CAS) Society and the world’s premier networking and exchange forum for researchers in the highly active fields of theory, design and implementation of circuits and systems.
The 2018 edition will focus on the Art of Circuits and Systems to highlight the strong foundation in methodology and the integration of multidisciplinary approaches which are the distinctive features of CAS contributions. The worldwide CAS community is exploiting such Art to change the way in which devices and circuits are understood, optimized, and leveraged in a variety of systems and applications
To implement the above vision, this year’s meeting will highlight the following innovation themes:
- Internet of Things
- Smart Manufacturing & Industry 4.0
- Smart Systems for Automotive
- Big Data Processing
- Cognitive Computing & Deep Learning
- Personalized Healthcare Systems
- EDA Methodologies
The topics include, but are not limited to:
- Analog/Mixed Signal Circuits & Systems
- Beyond CMOS: Nano & Hybrid Systems
- Biomedical Circuits & Systems
- Communications Circuits & Systems
- Digital Circuits & Systems
- Digital Signal Processing
- Neural Networks & Neuromorphic Engineering
- Nonlinear Systems & Circuit Theory
- Power and Energy Circuits & Systems
- Sensory Circuits & Systems
- Visual Communications & Multimedia Signal Processing
- Education in Circuits & Systems
The Art of CAS in the Art of Italy
Florence is an open-air museum, a mainstay in Italian history, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1982, the cradle of Italian language, contemporary hub for Italian fashion, chosen destination of millions of tourists from all over the world, centre of one of the most renowned regions in Italian food and wine. ISCAS2018 will be held at the Firenze Fiera Congress & Exhibition Center in the heart of one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The Center is located directly in front of Florence Santa Maria Novella railway station (fast train connections from Milan/Rome), it is less than 1 km from the Santa Maria del Fiore Duomo and Giotto bell tower and a short 15 min walk from the world famous Uffizi Art Museum.
Journal Special Issues and Open Preview
Selected ISCAS2018 papers will be invited for possible publication either in the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems – Part I: Regular Papers, in the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems – Part II: Express Briefs or in the IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Circuits and Systems. ISCAS2018 will implement an Open Preview: the conference proceedings will be available open access on IEEE Xplore approximately 3 weeks before the conference.
