The IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS) is the flagship conference of the IEEE Circuits and Systems (CAS) Society and the world’s premiere networking forum for researchers in the highly active fields of theory, design and implementation of circuits and systems. ISOCC has established a long tradition as an annual conference providing the premier SoC design forum for worldwide researchers from academia and industries. Since its inception, ISOCC has been continuing to showcase the most recent innovations and trends in the semiconductor system-on-a-chip area with active participation from worldwide researchers in academia, industry, and institutes. LASCAS 2021, Arequipa, Peru (February 2021)
LASCAS is the international symposium and flagship event of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society in Latin America. Its twelfth edition will take place in Arequipa, Peru. Arequipa is located in South Peru and it is about 1 h by flight from Lima. Arequipa has a wonderful landscape and there are numerous points of interest in the Arequipa region. The Colca Canyon, twice as deep as the Grand Canyon in the United States, is situated in the province of Caylloma. The Cotahuasi Canyon is in the La Union Province. Colca Valley provides incredible closeup views of majestic Andean condors soaring in their natural habitat. Cotahuasi, at 3,535 metres, is thought to be the deepest canyon in the world. To the north near Andaguas lies the Valley of Volcanoes. Arequipa is also about 300 km from Titicaca Lake. The Monasterio of Santa Catalina is colonial building stands out among the crowded field of beautiful colonial architecture in Peru.
